Anusha Mannava

engineer, reader, writer, painter, leaf-eater, thumb-twiddler,relentless traveler and unashamed daydreamer.

I am a graduate student, working towards a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Got a Master's from Missouri S&T- Rolla, prior to this, with a good two years spent slogging, panting and finally staggering towards the degree. It took me every ounce of energy and will to get through. And here I am, looking at a few more years of academic life. Only, because I love doing what I do.

On most days, I have a lot of things to say, at least ten thousand words. So when I don't find willing listeners, I write. Poetry is my favorite vent. I also write short fiction, some of which can be read on this blog. Occasionally I turn to sketching and only recently started to paint. Once a year I sculpt an idol, which is promptly immersed into water ten days later. For some unknown reason, I have always been awkward on  playgrounds. But, I watch every kind of sport and always support the No.2 player or team. Except if it is Rafael Nadal.

I could keep rambling, but this would become a biography not a brief.  Visit the Proust questionnaire if you are more curious.

And thanks for reading!!
